SearchGPT For Me is the "Let me Google that for you" of the AI era. Type a question once and get ready-to-open links to every public AI assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and DuckDuckGo AI Chat. Each link carries your prompt, so the assistant opens with the question already filled in.
The same query is also turned into links for classic search engines (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo) and for communities where real people answer: Reddit, Stack Overflow, Hacker News, Quora, GitHub, YouTube, Wikipedia and more. Compare what the AIs say with what the crowd says, from one place.
How it works
- Enter your question in the box above: the list of AIs, search engines and communities below turns into search links as you type.
- Press Generate links (or Enter) to put the query into the page URL, or Ask all AIs to open the selected assistants in new tabs at once.
- Share the page URL: it contains your query, so anyone who opens it gets the same set of links.

The site publishes an OpenSearch description, so your browser can use it as a search engine. Share a prompt as a link
Every generated page has the query in its URL, for example https://searchgptforme.com/?q=explain+quantum+computing. Send that link instead of telling someone to "just ask ChatGPT": they pick the assistant they prefer and the prompt is already there.

Frequently asked questions
Is SearchGPT For Me free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free and open source (MIT). The site itself needs no account. Some AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok) require you to be signed in on their side to answer.
Does the site store my queries?
No. There is no backend: links are built in your browser and the query lives only in the page URL, so you can bookmark or share it. Google Analytics counts page views and button clicks.
Why did the AI not answer automatically after I clicked?
Most assistants pre-fill the prompt but wait for you to press Enter. This is a security measure against prompt injection via links, so one extra click is expected.
Why are Gemini and Mistral copy-only?
Google Gemini and Mistral Le Chat have no documented URL parameter for a pre-filled prompt. The Copy prompt button puts your query in the clipboard so you can paste it there.
How do I add this site to my browser as a search engine?
